Since its conception  in 1998, this 9 peice horn band's approach to musical entertainment has become a hit in the South Florida area.  They have become one of the most sought after groups for main event corporate entertainment, and have several events to their credit. Their clientele includes prestigious companies like ADT Security Systems, Nokia Cellular Phones, Renaissance Cruise lines, Columbia Hospitals, Disney, and the American Heart Assoc. 

Hot Brass Monkey has also had the opportunity to open for nationally acclaimed acts like Pat Benatar, Billie Dean, America, Ms Patty Labelle, Starship, Boney James/Rick Braun, and Spyro Gyra. You can also catch a glimpse of the band appearing in the recent Oliver Stone production,   Any Given Sunday" starring Al Pacino , Cameron Diaz and Hot Brass Monkey...One of last years highlights for the band was having the honor of performing for the crew of the George Strait Country Western Festival 2000 tour party held in Orlando Florida. Hot Brass Monkey is comprised of some of South Floridas finest musicians who take pride in reproducing the great classic horn influenced hits from our recent past into today.

Songs like Santana's hit  "Smooth," Ricky Martin's "Livin La Vida Loca," and Cherry Poppin Daddies' "Zoot Suit Riot" are some of the band's material that will have your guests partying the night away. Some other featured groups are Chicago, BS&T, Stevie Wonder, Toto, Earth Wind & Fire,  Ohio Players,  Van Morrison, Steely Dan, James Brown,  Joe Cocker, The Beatles,  KC and the Sunshine Band, and several other classic groups of this style. A complete female repertoire is available upon request. High enthusiastic energy, quality true to sound horn arrangements, rotating lead and back up vocals, creative harmonies, strong danceable rhythms, including latin percussion, combined in a original show format characterize their performance. From your ceremony or cocktail hour to the final dance of the evening, this band is the key ingredient to bringing out the life of any party... All of our instrumentalists are schooled musicians. Our capacity to read lends itself to having the ability to play many different styles of music to accommodate any function. Our group draws from great seasoned experience. Our musical styles include Swing, R&B, Latin, Blues, Pop Rock, Big Band, Standard and Contemporary Jazz, and of course the great horn band classics from our recent past into today.... We have the perfect blend of material to keep your guests entertained from the cocktail hour right on through to the final dance of the evening. For styles that we can not perform ourselves, (i.e. Steel Drums, Harpist, Strolling Violins, etc…)We have referral sources to help provide you with exactly what you are looking for.... All you have to do is know what you want, so that we can provide it for you.
