Biography
By age 7 he’d mastered the alto horn, baritone & tuba. On wintry days when it was too heavy to carry home to rehearse, he would slide down the icy slopes of Verona, Pennsylvania sledding down the hill towards home atop the instrument case. He mastered the horn’s complicated fingerings and often performed to family and community audiences. Musical mentor & teacher Joe Debsky developed Craig’s innate musical ability to heights far beyond his pint size, where his delivery earned him a spotlight tuba/piano duet performance in Debsky's arrangement of “Stupendous.” During an Oakmont Middle School concert Craig performed with Debsky’s wife & pianist who shared the stage this unique blend of brass and string. Craig later played fife in the Fife and Drum Corp., which marched down Allegheny River Blvd every year during 4th of July parades. He even mastered trumpet in Jr. High. More compelling were childhood poems that began as early as age 5 that have never stopped. By his early 20’s, he was composing complete arrangements of lyric & song. In College, he formed the band “Legacy” with long time friend,

Kris Tibbs.

Together, they wrote moving, emotional songs reflecting an inspiring chapter their history and one that greatly shaped the path that Craig’s writing would take. “We Can Stop The Rain” was the ground breaking song to recording art in 1989, although it would be produced with 3 different producers over the next 12 years to it’s present arrangement. It staying power to this day. After 6 year’s as a sailor, he left behind his stripes and memories of singing the National Anthem at his own Naval graduation ceremony, and sang lead for the Big Orange Barbershop Chorus of Jacksonville, FL. He later appeared in Disney’s Easter Day Parade & the annual Jacksonville Symphony’s Concert with the Big Orange performing the title track to the major motion picture release of "Pippi Long Stocking." He was awarded a scholarship singing lead in the "Sounds of Trident,” at the Charleston, South Carolina campus of Trident Technical College. Here he took up dancing while singing with virtually no previous dance training. Craig appeared in hundreds of live shows for the "Sounds" over several years where he refined his skills and embraced his gifts.

The years that have followed introduced him to piano and guitar, light and sound design and event planning.

"Our life is a journey of the spirit. Through our faith we will find the agreeable things."
